pub struct MerkleProof { /* private fields */ }

Implementations§

source§

impl MerkleProof

source

pub fn hashes(&self) -> Vec<Hash>

Returns the hashes for this proof

source

pub fn from_block_hashes(tx_list: Vec<Hash>, target: u64) -> Self

Creates a new proof from a list of hashes and a target. Target is a 64 bits unsigned integer indicating the index of a transaction we with to prove. Note that this only proves one tx at the time.

source

pub fn from_block(block: &Block, target: u64) -> Self

Same as MerkleProof::from_block_hashes but you give a block instead of a list of hashes.

source

pub fn verify(&self, root: Hash) -> Result<bool, String>

Verifies a proof by hashing up all nodes until reach a root, and compare root with computed root.
